Feijoada, one of the most famous dishes of Brazilian cuisine, is a type of stew made with black beans and various meats.

Ingredients
- 1 cup black bean
- 1.1 lb beef
- 3.5 oz pork bacon
- 1 piece onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 pieces bay leaf
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 4 cups water
Directions
- Soak the black beans in water the night before and let them sit.
- Drain the beans the next day and put them in a pot.
- Chop the beef and pork pastirma into small pieces and add to the pot.
- Chop the onions and garlic into small pieces and add them to the pot.
- Add bay leaves, salt, black pepper, and vinegar to the pot.
- Add water to the pot and do not stir.
- Cook the pot over medium heat for 1.5 hours.
- Feijoada is ready. Serve hot.
